    Hi Lizel,

The last time I visited BNHS was October 2009, and had bad news about Computer Units in the lab. As per teachers the Units were outdated (no USB ports), not functioning and even some parts are losts.

It is really hard to accept that the Units were useless at all. (just a waste of money).

I understand that maintaining a computer lab is very expensive, particularly paying the electric bills and maintenance of the units and I doubt that BNHS can handle it.

I don’t know if the electricity consumed by the computers are handled by the government or BNHS will pay for them.

I also heared from our beloved COngressman Glenn CHong that he connected 16 SCHools to the INTERNET. I don’t know if BNHS is part of it. I hope so.

Well, thanks for keeping in touch and Please inform your friends to visit this site..

    TO konghefatchoy:

I strongly believe with you “konghefatchoy” that these computer units were given by the government to the schools inorder for the students to be computer literate.

I still remember way back 1997, the computer lab was still under construction, and we the students were so very excited because we will be having a computer already, but sad to say we haven’t use the computers and I entered college with zero knowledge in computers but of course 100% knowledge in “TYPEWRITER” (just to add humor) jejeje. so I need to cope up and learn the computer in my first year in college.

We should also step on to the footsteps of our mentors, I think the main reasons why they did not allow the students to use the computers its because, they don’t have any knowhows too. They’re afraid that these units will be broken, they’re also computer iliterate at that time.

Maybe they’re also thinking for the electricity consumption and where to look for a money to pay for the bills.

But sad to say and hear that some of these units were broken already and cannot be used.

    To BNHS Teachers:

Please allow your students to use the computers, dont be selfish.

Yung ibang teachers jan na suplada, kurakot at walang alam, magbago na kayo. you still have time.

Sus..
